Kodakara Sodo (子宝騒動 Kid Commotion ) is a 1935 black and white Japanese silent film with benshi accompaniment directed by Torajiro Saito. This is a rare example of a silent Japanese slapstick film that has survived to this day, and is one of the most lauded films directed by Saito, who was famous for his comedies. The influence of Charlie Chaplin is evident in this Shochiku Kamata 'nonsense film,' which showcases Saito's outstanding sense of humor. The benshi performance, spinkled with puns is part of the film's attraction.
